Mayo The inspiration behind my work is drawn from the observation of our manmade surroundings, the architecture of different generations and how it is perceived, overlooked or integrated. When considering current trends and lifestyle, the aim in my drawing is to create a visual awareness of our architectural feats or lack thereof. What is it that we can learn from our past that can help us attain our futures civilization? Is the psyche of the general populace, unfazed by the undoing of the old or the development of the new?
