Introduction to Printmaking with Peter Kelehan

This is a valuable opportunity to explore a range of print techniques
from: monoprint, drypoint, Etching collograph, carborundum and
Lino-cut. You will experiment with combining techniques and you will
produce a small edition of prints.

Waterbased Silk Screen-printing with Eilish Carthy

Learn how to produce screenprints from photographic or hand drawn
imagery using stenciling, tru-grain, mono screenprint and
photo-screenprint techniques. Participants will learn to prepare and
process screens, print a small edition and clean and degrease screens
after use. This course is suitable for beginners.

Intermediate Etching with Maev Lenaghan

Suitable for people who already have a knowledge of etch. A chance to
broaden technical and editioning skills. Participants will learn
Soft-ground, Sugar-lift and Spit-biting. As well as registration and
offsetting, in order to make two or three plate etchings. This class
is a prefect refresher for printmakers who might have been out of the
workshop for a while. The final class while be extended to ensure
project completion.

Mixed Media (Intaglio and Photography) with Jennifer Cunningham

This Class is an expansion of intaglio print making. Participants
will start with drawing based work, and then move on to various forms
of printmaking including intaglio.
Notebook work will be looked at and Participants will also be set a
photography project on their chosen theme. They will then look at ways
of intergrating lens based work with prints either through photoshop
or chine cole. Suitable for beginners and refreshers
